Acrylic Roller Shades

Acrylic hand-loomed Woven Roller Shades are the ultimate solution to smaller spaces.

The stack on top is minimal because the shade material is rolled over a tube with a small diameter.

A room’s ambiance is created by the amount of light that comes through a window, and that amount is ultimately determined by the type of window treatment that’s in use.

Our Acrylic Shades range from the most open D-06 – to the denser D-12 – to the densest D-18 (which prevents very little light from getting in). The amount of illumination that gets through a shade is determined by the amount of yarn per one inch. For example, the D-06 represents 6 yarns across per lineal inch, and the rest follow suit. (A cross weave is available as well.) 

For a regular roll, the fabric will roll down over the back side of the roller. The diameter of the finished product includes the roller + the woven acrylic material. Acrylic Roller Shades are available up to 120” Wide, and 120” Maximum height. Roller shades are available either in a manual version with clutch (continuous chain) or motorized, which can be adapted to any home.

The strings available from our color chart come in either a single color or mixed colors, and can also be custom dyed any color.

Our Lucite (Acrylic) Rollers Shades can be used in homes on windows, as doors, or as room dividers. They can also be used commercially in lobbies, restaurants, and offices.
